Power Up Kids Ministry is comprised of two parts: Power Up and Live Wire. This is a place like no other where we are raising the standard in kids ministry. This is not a babysitting service. This is church optimized for kids. We believe in ministering God’s Word to children in a way that is creative, impactful and engaging. Come and see your child connect.

Power Up

Power Up is a place where kids connect with a living God by engaging in worship and teaching designed just for kids–A full-blown, amplified, no-stops, ministry that is value driven and creatively wired to promote an exciting place to learn.

We want every child transitioning into the seventh grade to have made the following decisions:

1. I need to make the wise choice
2. I can trust God no matter what
3. I should treat others the way I want to be treated

Live Wire

Live Wire is designed specifically for children pre-k (age 3.5) to kindergarten.

Each week is full of objects for kids to touch, wild and wiggly activities to get them moving, crafts they will love getting into, and real life situations they can relate to. Our goal is to help each child master one concept at a time by creatively repeating the simple lesson phrase in a way that will stick.

We want every child by age 6 to know:

1. God made me
2. God loves me
3. Jesus wants to be my friend and heavenly Father forever

Live Wire uses several key strategies to accomplish this:

• Teach less, for more (repeat one key truth all month)
• Engage the five senses (master the concept through creative activities)
• Experience worship (encourage children to talk to God any time, any place)
• Connect at home (provide parents with ideas for conversation with their child at home)
